Chef Stuart grew up in Fairfax, Virginia, a suburban area located just outside of Washington, D.C. From a young age, he’s held a vast appreciation for diverse cuisines, enjoying foods from all around the world growing up in such a diverse demographic. Due to the sheer diversity of the region, Stu has had the opportunity to explore various concepts and cuisines, creating a passion for global flavors and culinary traditions.
Chef Stu’s culinary career officially began in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, where he truly found his passion for serving others through food and fellowship. Eager to develop his skills after spending some time in the industry, chef Stu attended culinary school years later at Colorado Mountain College, with campuses in Breckenridge and Dillon, Colorado. For over 15 years now, chef Stu has called Eagle & Summit County, Colorado home, working in various executive chef concepts and earning his most recent accolade of “Vail’s best chef” 2 years in a row.
